Where do you belong? In the hustle and bustle of a big city or amongst friendly faces in a small town?
The place I want to be is the closest to nature – rivers, oceans, lakes, mountains, forest, wildlife, trees and park. As a personal choice, I would prefer to avoid crowded beaches or places and prefer more calm and serene one.
The immense peace and solitude it has to offer beats the daily hustle in life, takes away all your stress and negative feelings, rejuvenates you and it helps in reflecting your true self and leading to discover a new you, almost always.
The sound of the sea waves, the chirping of the birds, the pitter-patter of the rain in the roof – all helps to shred all your worries and anxieties. So I feel no place in the world is better than the lap of nature
These pictures are from Sangam, it is a confluence of 3 rivers, Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati in the holy city of Allahabad. It is also the place where the worlds largest human congregation takes place called the Kumbh Mela – around January and is visited by millions across the globe. It is believed that a bath in the Holy Ganga river will wash away all your sins and this is what the Kumbh Mela is all about. If you have not heard of it then you must read more about it here.
The place is otherwise not crowded and busy, there are stretches where you can certainly sit back and enjoy the sunset. Seen here is the bridge over river Yamuna and was taken from a boat ride.

Hope you will like the pictures and the post, keep sharing your favorite place to hang out too.
