Where do you belong? In the hustle and bustle of a big city or amongst friendly faces in a small town?
The place I want to be is the closest to nature – rivers, oceans, lakes, mountains, forest, wildlife, trees and park. As a personal choice, I would prefer to avoid crowded beaches or places and prefer more calm and serene one.
The immense peace and solitude it has to offer beats the daily hustle in life, takes away all your stress and negative feelings, rejuvenates you and it helps in reflecting your true self and leading to discover a new you, almost always.
The sound of the sea waves, the chirping of the birds, the pitter-patter of the rain in the roof – all helps to shred all your worries and anxieties. So I feel no place in the world is better than the lap of nature
These pictures are from Sangam, it is a confluence of 3 rivers, Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati in the holy city of Allahabad. It is also the place where the worlds largest human congregation takes place called the Kumbh Mela – around January and is visited by millions across the globe. It is believed that a bath in the Holy Ganga river will wash away all your sins and this is what the Kumbh Mela is all about. If you have not heard of it then you must read more about it here.
The place is otherwise not crowded and busy, there are stretches where you can certainly sit back and enjoy the sunset. Seen here is the bridge over river Yamuna and was taken from a boat ride.
Boats lined up after the days work is finished, these are mostly used by the tourist.
Hope you will like the pictures and the post, keep sharing your favorite place to hang out too.
This is my version of ascend of a building, birds flying high, monument, the leap of the squirrel and the hard worker laying overhead cable – can you judge the height.
I leave it to you to decide whether its ascend or descend but I like the pics taken using my mobile.
Keep ascending in your life – in all aspects of it.
This is my first ever try on Panorama and I am happy with the results.
For Pano you need to have a tripod and take pictures in Manual mode and stitch them together.
This panorama is from my Goa tour, this is the Anjuna Beach, If you have not yet visited this place then make sure you add it to your list of places to visit.
Hope you liked my first experiment with Pano. I will soon share a post on how to do it using GIMP.
Every time I participate in the WPC I say to myself that I will not use the same theme or concept as in the challenge, but the mind is so designed that it gets aligned to what it saw and thinks in the same way. Psychological effects and study of the human brain.
Coming back to the post, here is my entry for the challenge:
The squirrel waits desperately looking for his friend and see how it blushes when finally they come close, always beautiful and captivating to be in the nature and capture these moments to make your story. I wish waiting for everyone comes to an end at this same note.
Where do you go – leaving me lonely
Cant see you at sight
Wish you were hereHere I come – Climbing and leaping all hurdles to be with you. Reunion times are the best – nothing else is required. Just see their expressions and the love.
Hope you all liked it, thanks for your time and have a good day ahead.
