RUSTY:Mundane Monday Challenge #73

Abandoned, rusted, left out, isolation, lost in vain or whatever you like it, this is for the picture below of the rusted chain of hanging chair in the garden which has been abandoned.

It was once the most sought of by children and now only some mundane photographers like me would take some interest in it. As said “As time goes by….”

FLOWER OF THE DAY – AUG 22 2016

Whilst I was walking along with my daughter, (who also happens to be my partner in photography) she saw this flower and stopped. I was amazed that she picked it up and kept it in the steps and placed a stone near by and asked me to take a snap as she believed it would make a great photograph for my post.

Love her participation and enthusiasm and the way she would get involved, motivate and guide me along, so happy with the creation, Love you darling and here it goes for you.

RAKSHA BANDHAN – CELEBRATING THE BOND OF LOVE BETWEEN SISTERS & BROTHERS

Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi Purnima was celebrated across the country today. It is a bond, a symbol or bond of love between brothers and sisters. Sister ties a string in the hand of her brother and the brother is supposed to take care of his sister. Generally brother would also give a gift to his sister. You can read in more detail about the festival in the link at the beginning.

This Rakhi was special for us and our daughter Pearl, as she celebrated her first Rakhi by tying the band to Samarth. I wanted to share this and also to make you aware of this special religious part of our life which has very high importance and is celebrated with fervour across the nation.

I had a wonderful time since the weekend and till now, I have been driving around across places with my family and spent some good time enjoying my holiday sans internet and mobile. Try to spend some good relaxing time esp. without technology at your bay, it will be a wonderful experience.

This is one of the last of the series of white flowers all this week. It is just like a natural windmill, big and white and turning, again that’s my perception.
