This week my entry is the cable bridge over the Yamuna river at Allahabad, I loved capturing it on a rainy day, so wanted to share it for you all, hope you will like it.

The bridge besides connecting the city across the river Yamuna is also very popular hang out for the people as they seem to enjoy the breeze. At any point of time you can find many visitors across all ages enjoying their time and relaxing there, it provides wonderful peace and calmness as it is surrounded by river – Yamuna on one side and Ganga on the other.
You can see a stretch of water and a beautiful sight as far as your eyes can, If you get to pass from Allahabad make sure you stop there as I did. Unfortunately it started raining immediately and I had to get inside my car so could not capture more. These days both the Yamuna and Ganga river are above their danger marks and it is very scary when you stand at the bridge, although the bridge has good height however the water has risen so much that it gives a scary feeling.
Although did not find any mention of bridges however took the liberty of including bridges, Hope Cee won’t mind it.
Have a good day ahead and stay blessed.

Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi Purnima was celebrated across the country today. It is a bond, a symbol or bond of love between brothers and sisters. Sister ties a string in the hand of her brother and the brother is supposed to take care of his sister. Generally brother would also give a gift to his sister. You can read in more detail about the festival in the link at the beginning.
This Rakhi was special for us and our daughter Pearl, as she celebrated her first Rakhi by tying the band to Samarth. I wanted to share this and also to make you aware of this special religious part of our life which has very high importance and is celebrated with fervour across the nation.
Here are some snaps from the event and I hope you will like it.

I had a wonderful time since the weekend and till now, I have been driving around across places with my family and spent some good time enjoying my holiday sans internet and mobile. Try to spend some good relaxing time esp. without technology at your bay, it will be a wonderful experience.
Have a great day ahead and wish you all lots of happiness 🙂

I am sure you all have loved them as much as I enjoyed capturing and sharing them.
Have a wonderful Saturday and Sunday and stay safe and blessed.
Lots of love and a big KISS 🙂
